UTMB 2009 video check this out
Great 10 minute video of the UTMB 2009 (cheers for sending the link George). See if you can spot the saltire flag on the balcony as the race leaders run along one of Chamonix's main streets just after the start. That was our flat and George Reid's flag. :-)
Well done Brian. Brilliant achievement...also well done Davie and George too. Unable to post on your blog Davie so hope you see this. What a great adventure you and all the guys had.
I've saved that excellent split/cut off file you created Brian. Hope you don't mind. Maybe manage to have a go myself one year. Cheers, Bob Allison
I've been running for around 9 years with 4 years of ultra running. I prefer trail, fell and mountain events. Other than that I am a balding Glaswegian academic living in England with an Australian wife and a little daughter called Eilidh.
I thoroughly enjoy running, and running for very long distances over trail and fell terrain in particular. I originally created this blog to document my training for the West Highland Way Race, a 95 mile ultra in Scotland. Now that I have completed the race, this blog will be a place for me to share thoughts on running, racing and life in general. Please feel free to comment or to let me know you have a related blog - I'll link it and read whenever I have the time.
